At Mammal, we are passionate about provide cornerstone herbal products, herbal education, and holistic health services as a means to empowerment. Our hope is that through our foundational herbal products and a few foundational learnings, our community feels inspired to take on their individual health journeys and the health of their families with their own two hands while balancing the realities of a busy modern life. Our mission is simple- to reconnect each of us to our rightful position in the natural world as a Mammal amongst other mammals, plants, and organisms, and with the same innate intuition, connection, and inner wisdom about how to live in harmony with nature. Our founder, Joanna Steblay, has been studying herbs and crafting herbal remedies since 2021. She has studied with numerous herb schools and mentors including: ACORN School of Herbal Medicine, Artemisia Academy, Gaia School of Healing, and Milk and Honey Herbs. She is now on the path to receiving clinical accreditation through the teachings and mentorship supplied by Heather Luna and Paul Bergner at ACORN School of Herbal Medicine.
Prior to studying herbalism, Joanna received a minor in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and weaves these learnings into her current practice.
Joanna is passionate about reconnecting clients, customers, and community members with their own vitality and introducing herbalism to beginners. These practices belong to each of us.
